Vice President for Manufacturing (Poland): Top pay and benefits in a start-up company working with established international partners. We are seeking an experienced manufacturing executive for our new company in Poland, designing and manufacturing US industrial air pollution control equipment. The facility is a large metal fabrication plant in an excellent location, where several foreign firms have located. The responsibilities include the direction of 160 employees in the manufacturing division, which produces electro-filters, fabric filters, flue gas desulfurization equipment, other full APC systems and their parts. Lecturer in Political Economy: The School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) in London is seeking to appoint a lecturer in Political Economy to start on 1 September 2000 or as soon as possible thereafter. The lecturer will be a member of the economics cluster of the Department of Social Sciences. The Department comprises specialists in the economics, geography, politics, sociology and anthropology of Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. The Department has extensive undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The numbers of students on undergraduate and taught Masters degrees are rising fast, and the Department also has some thirty 30 PhD students. The recent merger of SSEES with University College London has created new opportunities for teaching and research in the field of European Studies.
